Charles: "I thought Napstablook would have made something like this when Mettaton left to enter her new robot body. Taking inspiration from one of his favorite tunes "Spooktune" and making it a lot more sad."

EmergencyBattle: “When I got "sad" and "Napstablook" I was reminded of the fight mechanics in Undertale where Napstablook cries and the tears travel across the screen. Since this is a music project and Napstablook is quite closely tied to musical theme, making the tears into musical notes helped illustrate the idea of channeling feelings through music.”
