Braysl: "As the title infers, BOSSTIME is a theme for a boss fight. It is heavily inspired by Toby Fox's music, specifically Megalovania. I absolutely loved the 8-bit like quality of the OST, and the overall super hyped up feeling of his boss music. That hype is the sort of feeling I wanted to convey in a song that would play while fighting a Boss Monster."

Frye: “BOSSTIME is meant to encapsulate the feeling of being in a boss battle in Undertale, so I tried to incorporate the attacks from the "major" boss battles in the game. It's not incredibly subtle, but I wanted it to have a hectic feeling, like you're being attacked. It might not be as epic or hype as a real Undertale boss battle, but I hope it does justice to BOSSTIME.”
