From the musician: "This track began as a piano improvisation, vaguely inspired by Undyne and her battle theme. Eventually, I was inspired to turn it into this - a song about young Undyne training with Asgore, before she became the head of the Royal Guard! I tried to use instruments and a style reminiscent of Undyne's theme, as well as leitmotifs from the game. Part of Asgore's theme makes an appearance, as well as a hidden leitmotif from Undyne's theme. See if you can find it!"
